With all the things I could do with a stack of 1’s, I’m most probably going to spend it on $1.00 mimosas.
This is how a few of my best friends, Jane, Katrina & Jordan started off our day. Brunch at 100 Wines Kitchen! Okay, well Jordan wasn’t there yet cause she was at work, but she joined us later.
This day we celebrated a send off for Katrina. She’s made some big girl moves and started a new life in Washington state for a well needed change of scenery.
100 Wines Kitchen
B*tches love brunch. People say that all the time. I’m just going to redirect it and say *ladies* love brunch…because they do. But so do guys, so let’s just be gender neutral and say that most people love brunch!
Anyways – 100 Wines Kitchen is a cutesy restaurant and wine bar located in Hillcrest! They serve up some European style delicious brunch and dinner foods in a lovely rustic environment. The interior designer in me was taking notes for the endless list of future home decor items to make (a list that I have yet to start on).
Tip: Make a reservation! I’m sure you don’t have to most times, especially if you go on the weekdays, but we happened to go on a busy day.
For breakfast, we ordered the $1.00 Juicy Mimosas, each with a juice of our choice: grapefruit, pineapple, and cranberry! Katrina and I both got the Corned Beef Hash, and Jane got a special quiche of the day!
Girls Day Out
The rest of this day we spent with even more mimosas, a trip to the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, iDesserts, the Waterfront Park, and little shops all along the way!
